Water is one of the key minerals for maintaining a healthy physique and skin. You need to drink at least half 8 to 10 glasses of water daily. Experts suggest that your body requires you to drink approximately half the weight (body weight) in ounce of plain water. If you weigh 100 pounds, you need to drink 50 ounces.
Consume Healthy Fats
Women often dread fat because it is fattening. However, healthy fats are also needed for maintaining good health. And, it is also true that our brain requires plenty of fat as well. Some of the best sources of fats include coconut oil, ghee, butter, avocadoes, extra virgin olive oil and grass-fed butter.
Exercise and Activity
Do not succumb to a sedentary life or become a couch potato. This is one of the greatest blunders women generally do, often unknowingly. Maintaining a sedentary lifestyle tends to weaken your muscles, thus making you feel tired and lethargic all the time. The structure of human body is such that it can conserve energy. So, if you simply indulge in a sedentary lifestyle, you are actually sending clear signals to the cells (bones, brain, and muscles) that they are not needed. As a result, your muscle start weakening, your bones will shed their osseous material and your mental capability will also start deteriorating.
Old age brings in a lot of stress too, especially when you are chronically stressed. Chronic stress is the one of the leading causes of mental aging. Reduce stress with the help of behavioral therapies, meditation, exercising, quitting smoking, eliminating junk food and getting out of toxic bonds and relationships.
